Shipment Policy of Scrapert – a unit of Get Max Value Private Limited
“Scrapert” – a unit of Get Max Value Private Limited hereby termed as “Scrapert” is committed to providing a transparent and reliable process for individuals and businesses hereby collectively marked and assumed as “you” or “the party” or “Seller” seeking to sell used, surplus, or scrap items including—but not limited to—electronics, furniture, household appliances, industrial machinery, and other related assets.. As part of our commitment to efficient scrap disposal, we offer both associated transport services for pickup and delivery of goods and facilitate safe handling of the scrap material scrap material you wish to sell. This Shipment Policy outlines the conditions under which we engage logistics and shipments through Scrapert’s authorized vendors or service providers, including our responsibilities, the seller’s obligations, and any associated charges.
1. Pickup and Shipment Process
Once you have accepted our initial offer for the purchase of your goods, we will schedule a pickup through our associated transport services. This may include vehicles, equipment, or third-party logistics providers we work with to handle the pickup, loading, unloading, safety, security of scrap material and surrounding and transportation of scrap material from your location to our facility. Pickup scheduling is confirmed based on availability, location, and product type, which can include but not limited to bulky electronics, industrial machinery, home appliances, or furniture.
We will try to notify you in advance about the confirmed pickup schedule however not guaranteed, and you must ensure that the scrap material is ready for collection on the appointed date. Please be aware that any delay caused by the seller, including late product availability, inadequate packaging, or lack of access, may result in additional charges or rescheduling or cancellation of the order which so ever is deemed fit
2. Seller’s Responsibilities in Shipment
Arranging all necessary approvals, access permissions, and clearances for the pickup of the goods from the specified location shall be the sole responsibility of the seller. By booking a pickup with us, it is understood that the seller has already arranged the required permissions or access from any relevant authorities, property management, or third parties, prior to submitting the pickup request. This includes but is not limited to obtaining approvals for goods to be moved from restricted or private premises, ensuring safety protocols are in place, and ensuring that the goods are accessible for loading, unloading, handling, shifting, carrying, transport and other associated activities for safe and secure transportation. In the event of any failure to secure such access, rescheduling fees or other charges may apply. Scrapert and its logistics associated are equipped to handle scrap materials however, Scrapert or its associates may not be responsible for any damage or inconvenience caused in party’s premise or surroundings due to movement of scrap material. The inadequacy in handling the scrap material may arise from wrong or misleading information provided by the seller and hence Scrapert or its associates may not hold any liability towards any such aforementioned scenarios
3. Shipment Charges and Deductions
The cost of shipment, including the pickup of goods, is subject to #logistics fees, which may vary depending on the type of goods, weight, size, distance from Scrapert warehouse, and the specific handling requirements. Should Scrapert be required to arrange a pickup for heavy items such as industrial machinery or bulky furniture, the seller will be notified of the additional charges at the time of booking.
#logistics fees for pickup are either calculated on a per-item basis or as a flat rate for larger collections, with applicable taxes. These charges will be deducted from the final payment offer upon evaluation of the goods. Seller will be informed of the exact amount at the time of the booking confirmation.
4. Delivery of Goods to Seller (If Applicable)
In cases where the seller declines our offer after pickup, or if the goods do not meet our criteria, return logistics may apply. If the seller wishes to have the product returned, the seller will be responsible for the return shipment costs, and we will work with our associated transport services to arrange the safe return of the items to the seller's location. Seller shall add these charges to agreed final amount paid by the seller for return of scrap material prior to the return.
5. Heavy or Industrial Scrap material
For large, heavy, or industrial scrap material, special considerations may apply to the pickup and shipment process. The seller must provide full details of the goods, including weight, dimensions, and any special handling requirements, at the time of booking. In some cases, we may require additional equipment, permits, or coordination for access, and we will inform the seller of any changes or extra costs.
6. Liability for Damages
While we take all necessary precautions to ensure the safe transport of your goods, Scrapert shall not be liable for damages or losses incurred during the transport of scrap material, such damage or loss shall be deemed as directly caused by the associated service provider and the service provider shall hold responsibility and accountability for such negligence or failure to comply with established service standards. Any damages reported must be communicated to Scrapert within 48 hours of pickup or return which so ever is the deemed fit. Scrapert may engage with service provider to assist the seller for requisite support.
7. Inspection and Acceptance of Goods
Upon pickup, the scrap material will be inspected for their condition, configuration, and authenticity. If the goods meet our evaluation criteria, we will proceed with the agreed payment. However, if the goods do not meet the initial description or have been tampered with in any way, we may offer a revised payment or reject the scrap material, with applicable charges. The inspection and evaluation are carried out at our warehouse, after the transport has been completed.

#Logistics fee: Expenses levied on Scrapert by the engaged vendor or incurred by Scrapert for pickup and transportation of the agreed scrap item irrespective of actual movement like pickup attempt cost, advance to and for special handling of scrap material, hiring of adhoc or specialized team for handling of scrap material , other ancillary and incidental charges and attracted taxes, duties and levies as per the jurisdiction, notification and law of land cumulatively termed as logistics fees
